• Research Consultations provide undergraduate and graduate students with the opportunity to meet with a librarian for in-depth, personalized research assistance. Different types of research consultations include, but are not limited to:
  • Finding and evaluating information sources
  • Narrowing or broadening a research question
  • Locating datasets for analysis
  • Assistance with conducting/completing larger projects such as: literature review, capstone, thesis, or dissertation 
• Appointments can last from 15 minutes to an hour or more depending on the research need(s).
• Appointments are generally unavailable in between semesters and during breaks.

How to select a librarian: If you've declared a major, we recommend selecting a librarian who specializes in your area of study. If you have not selected a major, you're welcome to choose the "No Preference" option or select an individual librarian.
