Inside Book Awards: How Winners Are Chosen In-Person
Ever wondered what makes a children’s book award-worthy? In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore how major book awards evaluate and select titles and what that process can teach us about choosing high-quality classroom literature. Participants will examine picture books and take part in a mock book award election. Every participant will receive a free book and resources for future classroom strategies.
